My name is Shiri Takacs. I'm a vegan graphic designer. I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa where I studied Graphic Design and Visual Communications. Fast forward 6 years post graduation, I made the connection, took my blinders off, and became an ethical vegan, environmentalist and activist. These two aspects of my life are important, as The Vegan Designer became a combination of my skills as a designer and my passion for a better world.

I have 13 years specializing in impactful logo designs, branding, green printing solutions, eco-packaging and marketing materials for ethical businesses.

I specialize in logo design and branding, helping organizations communicate their core values through their materials, so there is consistency in voice. I truly help companies get their branding right from the start, so that their logo, branding, packaging, marketing materials all have consistency in who they are and who they are here to serve.

I'm here for the long term, and I prefer my clients to be as well, so we can grow together and make sure your business materials are always in line with your branding. There is no point hiring a professional for the beginning and then doing the rest by yourself on Microsoft Word - it destroys your brands reputation and goes from having your materials, social media, packaging etc looking professional to looking amateur in an instant. No one wants that.

It's honestly the most exciting part of launching a new business - seeing your idea actually start to take form through name, logo and brand formation - it becomes a tangible thing. Watching a seed grow into a flower.
